IHC Needs You

Our most vulnerable neighbors are facing a crisis. Today, nearly 127,000 individuals with an Intellectual or Developmental disability live in Colorado. 73% of those individuals live with a family caregiver. Those caregivers are aging, and their loved ones face a risk of homelessness or community displacement.

WHERE CAN WE USE YOUR TALENTS?

We have several committees and specific projects that are always in need of helping hands. Make the invisible visible through advocacy, volunteer your time, or support us with donations to help the most vulnerable in your community.

ADVOCATE. VOLUNTEER. SUPPORT.

Without access to housing, people with an I/DD experience homelessness or are displaced from their community into the "next empty bed" which may be many miles from their local community. Both are traumatic responses to a lack of housing.
